On 8-11-09 we contacted the office of Senator McCaskill concerning tickets to a shuttle launch. We received two VIP tickets for the 11-16-09 launch of the Space Shuttle Atlantis.
We traveled from Missouri to Virginia to visit with Bill & Laura Cole and learn about Cowboy Action Shooting. From Virginia we traveled south to Cape Canaveral, Florida. Along with the VIP tickets we received an itinerary for the launch. We were taken by bus to the “causeway” to view the launch - an excellent observation spot. After the launch they brought us back to our cars.

The Shuttle launch was an experience we will never forget.
